The trail includes a walk along the Alcantara River between Gorge Beach and Saje Beach; if possible, the tour continues about 100 meters into the Gorge. Suitable walking boots or overalls that can be rented at the Geological and Botanical Garden and the presence of a guide are required.

Throughout the Trail you can enjoy the special natural river flows and the majestic walls of the Gorge with their pentagonal and hexagonal prismatic shapes.
